私の父がすごいのは、何もいわないことだと思う。

私の母がすごいのは、今の問題については意見するが、過去の問題は決して蒸し返さないことだと思う。

これまでいろいろなお母さんを見てきたが、子どもに追い詰められるたび過去の悪事を掘り返し、優位に立とうとする人が多過ぎる。日本の子どもが自分に自信を持てないのは当たり前だ。子どもがちょっと自信をつけて言葉を発した途端、親に「お前のような人間の屑に発言権はない」と抑圧されるのだから。

気分のいいときだけ口先で「愛している」なんていったところで、誰が信じるだろう。
